Registrations Terms & Conditions 2024

  • Early Bird registrations until 07.01.24
  • Regular pricing until 15 days prior to the event
  • Late decider pricing until 4 days before the event
  • Registration transfer to other participant until 7 days prior to the event (available online)
  • No personal event registration deferral to other event in the series accepted
  • A cancellation insurance is available in the registration process, NGS does not provide refunds. Doctor certificates are not accepted for refunds, in case you have a club license these should be handled with your cycling club.
  • Sports voucher payments are available until 30 days prior to the event (ePassi - Smartum - Edenred) - see below on how to use your sports vouchers
  • Sports voucher payments can only be used for event registrations and are not accepted for accommodation, shuttle services, bike rentals or merchandise/apparel.

    Season Card 2024 - 349€/all events (100 cards limit)
  • Starting spot guaranteed until 15 days before the event for all events in the series
  • Individual event registration is required for all events
  • You will receive a personal code for online registration (Race ID)
  • The Season Card is individual. Registrations can not be transferred to other participants. We provide no refunds or deferral to the following (2025) season.

How do I pay my registration with Edenred / Smartum / e-Passi  vouchers or credit?

Register for the event of choice on our website and submit one of the following codes followed by the event name reference in the coupon code field

EPASSI / EDENRED /SMARTUM
Events: ESP24/UPP24/JYV24/BER24/LAH24

Example, if you want to register for NGS Jyväskylä using your Edenred digital vouchers the code is: EDENREDJYV24

In your e-Voucher app you search for Breakaway cc / Nordic Gravel Series and transfer the amount of your registration(s) fee(s). Upon receiving your Edenred / e-Passi / Smartum payment we will match your payment against the registration(s) and you will receive your registration confirmation via email. This option is only available in Finland. E-vouchers can only be used for event registrations, not for any other event services.

Note that registrations with e-vouchers can be transferred (online) but are non-refundable. E-voucher registrations are accepted until 30 days before the event.

 

I would like to defer my registration?

From 2024 onwards we no longer accept deferrals of registrations. A cancellation insurance is available in the registration process and can be used to obtain a refund of your registration in case needed.

I have a deferral registration from the 2023 season, how can I use it?

If you requested a deferral for a 2023 registration please contact us with reference to your previous registration and the registration of your choice for the 2024 season. We will process your registrations and send you a new confirmation. Please note that your new registration must correspond in distance with your initial registration (short, middle or long distance) as registration fees might have changed.

What types of bikes are allowed?

Our events allow any type of bikes that are able to handle the gravel roads and forest roads terrain. In general we recommend a tyre width of 35mm and more. Besides the recommended gravel/cyclocross bikes we allow mountainbikes, hybrid bikes and e-bikes. Road bikes with 28c or less tires are not allowed.

What happens if the event is cancelled due to covid-19?

If the local authorities prohibit an event taking place because of the covid-19 pandemic, or the event organizer decides the overall health of participants is at risk and cancels/postpones the event, you are automatically registered for the same event during the following season at no extra cost.
