The Jyväskylä region offers one of the best gravel road networks in Finland. Surrounded by breathtaking lakeland nature and four national parks, it is a great setting for a summer gravel event. Add UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the most instances of Alvar Aalto architecture in the world (!) and the title of Sauna Region of the World and you know this is an event not to be missed. Distances of 60, 110 and 173 km.
The event provides race timing and marked roads and is part of the overall NGS 2024 classification. The 30 first riders in all categories are awarded points for the NGS 2024 season classification (3 best results taken in account).
Accommodation is provided by our event partner Hotel Alba (event area). A special event price for participants applies until May 30th. Use the code NGS2024 when booking. Single rooms from 82€/night, double rooms from 107€/night. Jr suite with sauna from 147€/night. Premium BMC URS and Roadmachine X rental bikes are available as additional options in the registration proces.
The event is limited to 500 participants. This event welcomes riders from all levels and fitness and is open to mountainbikes, hybrid bikes and e-bikes (not allowed in the race category).
Event registration Includes:
- Participation in the event
- 1 to 3 food & drink stops on the route (depending on distance) including energy snacks and isotonic drink.
- Post event food buffet and (please add your dietary preferences to your registration)
- Registration deferral to another participant until one week before the event. Note: for the 2024 season we do no longer provide refunds.
Registrations can be paid for online with a creditcard, ApplePay or via alternative methods such as Edenred, Smartum or ePassi. Payment via bank transfer is possible. Please check our Registration FAQ’s

The middle distance route.
The route has ~1800 ascending meters and 2 food & drink stops: 50km / 83km
60km Route
The short distance for entry level riders. Great fun on the bike and accessible with all types of bikes (30mm tires minimum)
The route has ~900 ascending meters and 1 food & drink stop: 29.3km
